I like Mikri Vigla, I've been coming to kite here for six years, but this year you can no longer kite freely. The beach is closed because there is an Italian hotel in the center that has strong ties with the authorities and they don't need kite tourism. They have left only 100m at one end of the beach where three schools and people who want to kite can launch and land the kites. The kiters are not allowed to ride inside the bay. If you do so they call the police to nab you.

Love Vigla because during the July August period there is always reliably good wind and usually at a good level. It is a pretty choppy spot and expect wind gust too but great for boosting and the water is beautiful turquoise and pretty warm. The Long curved beach provides for a pretty safe environment under the prevailing side/side on conditions. The only problem is that it can get pretty crowded in August peak season and there are a lot of learners around the shore area so need to be a bit careful.
